Congratulation to the Swedish-Czech-Polish writer Andrzej Tichý who received the Swedish literary prize Ivar Lo-priset.


The Ivar Lo-priset is a literary prize which is awarded by the Swedish Trade Union Confederation (Landsorganisationen i Sverige, LO).

It was established as a tribute to Ivar Lo-Johansson on his 85th birthday, February 23, 1986. Until his death in 1990, Ivar Lo-Johansson was part of the scholarship fund, which annually appoints a significant working-class author.

Congratulation to the Canadian writer Rachel Cusk who received the French literary "Prix Femina, roman étranger" for her novel La dépendance (Gallimard 2022), in a translation of Blandine Longre.


Rachel Cusk is represented in the book "Portraits d'Auteurs / Author Portraits" (Carlssons, 2020).

The Swedish literary magazine Karavan is publishing in its new issue (2/2022) an interview with the Moroccan novelist Abdellah Taïa made in Stockholm by Åsa Magnusson.


Karavan is a quarterly magazine with focus on literature from Africa, Asia and Latin America. You can find it on all the good newsagent's shop in Sweden or at the Karavan webshop.
