Skillebyholm is a meeting place, a centre for biodynamic farming, education and sustainable development, and celebrates 50 years this year.

With four activities scheduled over the year, Skillebyholm aims to create opportunities for people to meet, learn new things, develop a space for reflection and, of course, celebrate!

You can find the full programme at the Skillebyholm homepage.

As I study for two years (2011-2013) at the Skillebyholm College of Biodynamic Gardening, I photographed the daily activity at the College during four month, between January 9th to April 30th, 2012, with one Polaroid image a day.

Twelve images are presented here, in anticipation of spring and the return of light.

Have you ever dreamed of meeting

French gardener and photographer, Laurent Denimal,

who has lived in Sweden for three decades,

and who has contributed, among other things,

three very beautiful books of photographs

on three of the most emblematic parks and excursion spots in Stockholm?

I will be present during the two days devoted by SSF

to the Photography Book Fair in Stockholm,

on October 27 and 28,

where the latest book, Gröna Lund, will be presented.

Friday, October 27th, 12:00 - 19:00

Saturday, October 28th, 12:00 - 16:00

Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Plan 5

This will be a unique opportunity to see the three works relating to these green spaces brought together on the same table; Gröna Lund, Djurgården and Millesgården, and to be able to discuss with the photographer his original working method and also about the stages that were followed from the inception of the project to the final production of the book.

Gröna Lund (LDP, 2022), foreword Laurent Denimal.

While working as a gardener at Stockholm's Gröna Lund tivoli, I carried a wooden pinhole panorama camera loaded with 35-mm film around with me.

An artist's edition of fifteen autographed copies is presented in a slipcase with one numbered and signed colour print.

Djurgården, in the King's Park (Carlssons, 2014), foreword Per Wästberg.

Djurgården, which once upon a time was the royal deer park in Stockholm, is today the world's first national city park. It forms a green oasis just across the water from the city centre. I spent a season working in the park as a gardener, and had my Polaroid camera with me every day.

Polaroid photography provides unique, small-format images without a negative, limited to a single original photograph. The book "In the King's Park" presents a selection of motifs that were caught in an instant.

Millesgården, in the Sculptor's Park (Carlssons, 2008), foreword Agneta Pleijel.

The photo book Millesgården, in the Sculptor's Park takes you for a walk through the sculpture park in the grounds of the house formerly belonging to Swedish sculptor Carl Milles (1875-1955), located on the island of Lidingö, outside Stockholm.

An artist's edition is presented in a black slipcase with one numbered and signed original print.

The Pavlovka pinhole fest is organized annually by the Pavlovka Art Gallery located in Kiev, Ukraine, since 2017.

This is an international festival dedicated to pinhole photography with authors from almost all corners of the world.

I will be part of the Pavlovka pinhole fest exhibition this summer, together with 60 others photographers.

I will show three colors photographs from the photo book Gröna Lund.

Format: 233x130 mm, 96 pages, 63 scanned photographs from colour negatives

4/4 printing

Paper: Munken lynx 170g (insert), Munken lynx 400g (cover), open spine binding

ISBN 9789152730478

All the photographs are captured with a pinhole panoramic camera (frame 24×56 mm), on 35mm colour film.

The amazing lines, contours and silhouettes of Gröna Lund are surprisingly well-suited to being captured by pinhole camera – the amusement park is a huge assemblage of infrastructure, with the myriad overlapping and criss-crossing angles of the various buildings and wooden and metal structures, the seemingly endless ingenious confluences and crossings of beams, tracery and buttresses.

The camera is handmade by Le Rouge, Alternative Photography.

The opening of the exhibition is on

Friday 21th July, 18:00

Hetman museum

Spasska str. 16 b - 04070 Kiev, Ukraine

Welcome !
